Meet Pastor Labrador

Dr. Minervino “Minner” Labrador Jr. currently serves as the Vice-President of Multilingual Ministries for the North American Division, where he oversees numerous departments and committees.
Prior to his role in the NAD, he was the President of the Upper Columbia Conference in the Pacific Northwest. He also held the position of General Vice President and Director of Ministerial, Stewardship, and Men’s Ministries at the Southwestern Union Conference.
Pastor Labrador has almost 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry and has served as the Director of Men’s Ministries across Florida, the Carolinas, and throughout North America. His pastoral experience includes serving as a senior pastor in both multi-church districts and single-church districts, as well as in a multi-pastoral church setting.
Additionally, he has contributed to Men’s Ministries as a radio talk show host in Tampa Bay, Florida, and has hosted several Men’s Ministries television series for Hope Channel. He is the recipient of the prestigious life achievement award in North America for his pioneering work and excellence in Men’s Ministries.
Dr. Labrador earned his degrees from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee, Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, Massachusetts.
Born in Cuba, Dr. Labrador’s family emigrated to the United States and settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1970. One of his childhood neighbors, a girl named Evelyn, moved away when he was 11. They reconnected at the age of 19 and married in 1986.
Now, 38 years later, they are proud parents of two sons who serve as professional firefighters in Charlotte, NC, and they have five beautiful grandchildren. Dr. Labrador loves the Lord and his family and is honored to serve God’s people.
